DS-Night Lights
This fantasy Streptocarpus has a deep, dark purple background that appears black in most conditions. It is highlighted by streaks of magenta and flecks of purple from which it gets its name.
The flowers are 6-7 cm in size.
The medium-sized rosette has darker leaves rich in chlorophyll, so it can withstand a little more light.
This hybrid loves to divide and produce rosettes, so it is advisable to limit each plant to 4-5 rosettes. You can choose from a few different tactics; 1) just prune all the extra rosettes. 2) divide each year into 2-3 parts with 3-5 rosettes per plant, 3) divide the plant every six months into individual rosettes and put into individual pots.
